Sound2Game, Composing Music to Computer Games

Sound2Game is the latest program from UCan.tv and, as you might expect, it is exploring how music is used in video games. As a result, it has immediate appeal with most pupils.
There are 5 different games, based around racing games or 'shoot-em-ups', to which pupils must add the sounds. Each game has a specially designed music and sound effect interface that allows pupils to browse and load sounds they have composed into the games. When they have finished they can play the games!

This is an excellent teaching resource to engage students in contemporary composition.
